You will be amazed how high is the probability of having two person with the same birthday in a group of 25 people (I can't count is, but its more than 50% iirc)
-- Edit --Ok, I checked it (like always) - you need 23 people to have a proability of β50% to have two with the same birthday.

I remember seeing that study a ton of times and never believing it despite my better judgement. Nothing to believe - knowledge helps - It is simple math : First lets count the probability that all birthdays are different (assuming all birthdays are equally): 365/365 * 364/365 * 363/365 * ... * 343/365 = 0.4927 = 49.27% Now that we know the probability for all of 23 having different birthdays, so we also know that there is a probability of 50.73% that at least two of them have a birthday at the same day in a group of 23. Note: If single days have more birthdays than others (IE:newyear production, carnevale) the probability of doubles is even slightly higher.

Note: If single days have more birthdays than others (IE:newyear production, carnevale) the probability of doubles is even slightly higher. Γn fact, if you take it to the extreme and say that the probability of being born in some given day is 100%, then the chance that two people in the group have the same birthday is also 100% π

I have a genuine question: consider how ET has messed up the balance of EW7 by bringing in easily collected masses of healing items before introducing false fixes, such as by letting enemy AI spam troops like 1 full legion per enemy city per turn (or 1 full legion per spawn point a turn) and/or making it compulsory to hold extremely vulnerable targets. Why do we still play into ET's game?
Moreover, there are complaints that War Drums make the game too easy and boring and that ET went too far to counterbalance it, why do players still play into the War Drum game?
In EW4, I used them for SNS naval battles and perfect clearing some American campaigns. Other than that, no medkits were used, or spammed like in EW7. If you play it using the no-gen way, it makes sense. And it is necessary, but you wanted the experience.

If you play it using the no-gen way, it makes sense. And it is necessary, but you wanted the experience. i agree that ew7 is messed up because of war drums. because of war drums, no brain needed, you can go front of enemies and defeat them. like in troop challenge: a no talent no level unit can defeat high lvl unit and talent. no strategy needed. im surprise with you guys playing gcs. i used to only play ET modded games until ew7. i stop gsc. i used to play non modded gog, gop, ew1-ew4,wc3 but i cant finish to the end of game. so i was force to use modded to finish. i play gcr and didnt use heal items. and able to finish the game. but not the ew7, some campaigns need war drums. ex: battle of crecy. with gcs conquest, with its visuals and weather effects, the ever confusing diplomacy. its hard to play ew7 conquest. but they didnt have events with speech. like when joan of arc joins the battle, rising french morale. the npc nations. and yes, playing for the experience.

Hard disagree on the "need" to use drums for now. I'm at Tewkesbury in the Wars of the Roses II without intentionally using / spamming Drums or IAPs. I've yet to start on Talent Upgrades even though the enemy has them in the final two Epic battles.
It is doable but hardly anyone wants to have a more challenging / stimulating experience, but I do concede on the extreme farming needed to get here.
I'm also at Great Ride in Hard, but I skipped the Battle of Auray.

Well, winter is here, for most of us. Chilly nights are fairly enjoyable.
