This is the 10th mission of the Crimean war. There has been no quide yet, so I decided to make one. Your goal is to capture 5 key points, not use any military tactics and deploy 10 or less generals. That last one was not a challenge to me, because I have 8 generals anyway. For generals, I have Karl, Washington, Murat, Davout, Nelson, Dabrowski, John and Mahmud. All of them are general majors and their titles are almost max, except for Dabrowski. I`ll get into the quide, but i must say that I forgot to take any screenshots of my game. I will also say that I have spent 0$ on this game.
You start off with a big army, your income is as bad as always. I put my cavalry generals on the 2 armored cars and musket cavalry ( I suggest the one already in the water). Artillery generals on the field artillery and rocket artillery, I also put Nelson on the heavy artillery. I put my infantry generals on the machine gun and elite light infantry.
1. Get landed as quickly as possible. If the russians capture the French city, it is over so rush in and help them. Use your navy to bombard the Russian general (Tolstoy) or other common units. After that, help the Turks land. If that is done, I suggest you disband it so you get a bit more money in ( that is if some of your main units have died and you have captured a few cities).
2. The western flank. When your units are landed, get moving. I sent Murat (armored car), Washington (machine gun) and Mahmud (field gun) north, also a few common units. Don`t bother helping the British land, they die anyway because it`s AI. When I played, the Brits actually took the level 3 city to the west. I eventually captured it. Put down line inf to protect it. That Russian machine gun general (Muravyov) is quite weak so killing him is easy. After capturing the city, I sent my troops to the level 4, city in the north. stick to the coast so the British fleet can help a bit. Use your artilery to flatten the city, when you take it, prepare for the enemy attack. Don`t waste too much money at the start, then you have enough to protect the cities. Use your generals to attack the enemy units, they are mostly focusing on the cities. The Russian generals (Menshikov, Vorontsov) aren`t too tough, but be careful. Just hold out for the end of the mission.
3. The eastern flank. I sent the rest of my units east to help the Turks. When they are landed, attack the level 3 city in the east. Capturing it is not that hard. Also, take out the Russian artillery general (Gorchakov), it makes things a lot easier. Surrounding him does the trick. After that, start attacking the level 5 city. Use your artillery wisely. It was lucky that the Russians barely protected the city when I played it. But it might happen always. By the end, my generals were too weak, so I had to use the military tactics. I captured the city, protect it with elite light infantry. If everything goes right, you can hold out until the end.
I can`t remember, if I had used any medical packs, but you should stock up just in case.
I got two stars. It was quite tricky, it was also my third ( I think) try. The Crimean campaign is easily the hardest thing in the game. Right now I`m on the Azov campaign. I have completed the previous missions with mostly 1 and 2 stars, the only 3 star mission, I completed was the battle of Sinop.
