I'm not playing this game much (just grinding resources daily), but I need help here so i can go to the Rise of Byzantium Chapter.
My generals are Stilicho, Hemeric, Ivar and Lupidicus (dunno how to spell his name)

What are you trying that isn't working?
I used only the general that you start with on the map plus hemeric and lupidicus and cleared. I spawned units in rome that were spear + javelin + javelin for both hem and lup. Run the general that you start with south to recapture the city that falls on turn 1/2 and then sit him there, reinforcing as needed. The rest of the battle was just building units to fill up the coast so they cannot land their fleet. Attack from land into sea and just run time out.

I finally cleared. Ivar held that south key city. Stilicho and Lupidicus camped near Rome to destroy enemies.
