I've thought about remaking my Commander as a navy general as a joke, after all there are great generals for everything else but no true navy specialists. I admire you for actually doing it.
I won't criticize (I'd hate to make Surena cry) but I sure am curious what you intend doing next. Cassius + Pedius for the rumor double whammy?

Nothing so romantic. I tried Pedius, Cassius, and Dellius and I honestly wasn't a fan of them together. Sure they are good separately (even Dellius is okay), but working together didn't give them additional synergy in my experience. Rather, I will get Burebista or Ariovistus, maybe Sertorius, just to finish off my infantry for now.

Yeah, I've not tried it but I suspected that in practice it's not as good as it sounds. 20% rumor just isn't that strong compared to what we had in WC4, if you attack with two then the chance it fires for both is only 1 in 25. Still good if the generals were strong otherwise, but they really aren't. |
