Just 1 step more and I can get Excalibur. Can anybody help me the general guide and tips for this stage? The map is huge and may be takes long time so I need some help to be success at first time try.

If it is the mission with Excalibur the tip is easy. Do not land on the nearest island in the begginning. Move to the very south and let the enemies come from north one by one. After the wave will be killed and You've more or less cleared the southern enemies it is time to go for those island. Try to focus all possible firepower to occupy the green spot. That will cause the defection of the artillery towers. The rest is easy. There are plenty of time. The very west-northern island is easy to capture with 2 generals. Do not send a lot there. If I remeber correctly it is just Hades (not very strong) on the island and regular units on the way.

Make sure that your strongest generals start in the sea (I had Bismarck start on land so on turn 1 I kept restarting until he could rumor a gen in the sea). The main focus is Poseidon and the units around him. Also the brown wolf needs to be killed quickly. Once the units in the sea are dead, you can land on the central island. Ignore the south-central island at first, just stay out of Loki's range, so he will embark. After you have taken the buildings on the central island, split your forces. The strongest need to push west to go and kill Hel, someone goes to take the building on the south-central island, and the weakest stay and defend from the wave that arrives from the sea. After killing Hel, go for the southwest island and kill Hades. The units that captured the south-central island will return to help defend the central island |
