Last night I thinking whether Rommel Rundstedt. I realize that having a Medium Tanker and Heavy Tanker is very effective. I play conquest mode in Western Front Legion which I used Rundstedt. I saw Rundstedt too slow and sometimes I can't really see the effect of his Plunder Supply.
So should I stick to Rundstedt or should I move to Rommel?
Reasons why I should stay with Rundstedt:
- If I buy Rundstedt, I will get a reward from the achievement (acquired ability of generals both inf. and arty. that have a total amount of 200 medals + prestige points)
- Best anti tank, arty(I guess)
- High survivability
- You can save economy in campaigns (sometimes) because of his skills.
Reasons why I should move to Rommel:
- Rundstedt is too slow sometimes he can't fight to other enemies because he's too slow
- Rommel is very effective (sometimes) than other tank general. (hi JustANormalAccount)
- His effectiveness in Deserts
- I can also get reward with acquired ability of general in artillery.
- Great skill in Heavy Tank (Panzer Leader)

It depends if you have an infantry gen already or not. If you do, then Rommel is a necessity. He's just so powerful. If you don't already have an infantry, then Guderian can do as your HT while Rundstedt is more important just due to his sheer versatility. Speed doesn't matter, and if you really need it, Rundy is also a great HT.

If you have Yamashita, ehhhh I might suggest getting Rundstedt too

Had have the same question and decided for Rundstedt; at some times you are forced to move in industrial dead egdes, especially in army group. Therefore Rundstedt can replenish in every city. |

Fun fact: Rundstedt can be used as heavy Tank general but if u think Model enough for now then get Rommel
