For me, I've just been at home, focusing on the beginning of the next college semester (wow, it's been that long since I am in here). Since we are still keeping our courses online, I am isolated and far from everyone (hundreds of kilometers from the university itself) and did not manage to meet and befriend my new colleagues. So no Valentine for me this year...
But I grew kind of used to it, and only hope remains for the next year. Maybe next time...

Cryingβ¦..
I really didn't do much. I gave a friend a teddy bear and some chocolates and she gave me a drawing.

It just happens that none of us is very lucky, I guess. Otherwise, it is fine to make even a belated wish.

China demonstrated, how 5.000.000 deaths could have been avoided. China started it all in the first place. The question, who brought Covid to the CISM party in Wuhan, will be investigated (hopefully) later.

I could care less who brought COVID into the world, I care more who can take it out.

I could care less who brought COVID into the world, I care more who can take it out. As You care who takes it out: Gerd von Rundstedt, how high in percent, will You rate the probability that someone in 2022 will "take out COVID19" - ?? worldwide ??. and in 2023 % ? ... and in .... ? IMO: Corvi will remain - like the atomic bomb.At least all still living vulnerable persons, in the rich countries, should have their vaccinations by now. Omicron seems to be the most gentle exit out of the pandemic that nature can offer. After two years, this is even the common duration for a pandemic. Great thanks in respect, to whoever it may concerns.

To clarify - I do not mean that COVID will (or even should) be eradicated. I merely mean when it returns to levels that our governmental overlords say we can return into the world, thus having the major effects of the virus end.

Guys, don't you think it has gone a little bit off-topic? I mean this was not intended to turn into a Covid-related discussion, but just how you guys have spent that supposed "day of lovers" or whatever it is supposed to be. In Romania, we have a local, similar tradition known as Dragobete. It is celebrated yearly on the 24th of February...oh, that was yesterday.
