Given that not all unit types have been released (Dragon Cav, Winged Cav etc.), would it make sense to save em scrolls and spam everything at a later date when more updates come?

no, you can reroll the recruitment and reset the shop with download and upload (i made a guide for it in war council section of forums) so you are happy with the units you get, the only units worth getting at this stage is varangians guards and noble cav. Noble cav are the 2nd best charge units, the best is templar which are locked and will be locked for a long time so just get noble cav to a decent level like lvl 6. Varangian guards are the 2nd best units in the entire game after templar knights so just max them. once you get to both varangians and noble cav to a level you are happy with, start saving mercenary orders for templar knights

As in every ET game go with what You have before You start to experience problems. At this points go for upgrades. There is no one possible wisdom. It all depends on how You play, what are the gens You use etc. Use the resources only when it is absolutely necessary. This way You'll save Your time - won't need excessive grinding. |
