Obtain all 1939 conquest medals and wonders, recruit some generals and do campaigns. You can go with the Badoglio-Ozawa route, or my route which is the Wingate-Crerar-Fletcher route. Building Great Pyramids is recommended (only 20000 industry, 9000 will come from first 5 challenges), the other 2 can wait until later. |

You've played WC4 so you know how PF works.
Go as far as you can without generals first, then plan your purchase accordingly. Guderian is definitely the best, others include Govorov, Crerar, and Badoglio. In your case I'd put Crerar above Badoglio since you have experieces in later games. You should be able to complete the conquests without any general. For 1939 conquests, Finland is a must, plus an axis and an allies country. My picks are Spain, RoC (send troops to Europe from the very beginning), Japan, and UK.

Well I did get the elite pass thing , so I’m swimming in medals for now, I’ll do as much as I can without generals (besides eye coveredes)

Try fort taking Smolensk and Moscow, use armored cars to destroy surrounding infantries. |

Don't leave anything for Guderian to take. Use FA spam against Moscow. |
