I know he’s uglier than his fictional adaptation in the anime “Vinland Saga” , but I think this moustached monarch must be taken into consideration. When the new chapter of Normandy is completed you get his rusty blade which can give many cool bonuses to Viking riders (which I find salvific in many battles). Naval units are very important in this game (the frigate is a good enough vessel to see important results) and Cnut is part of a combo together with Halfdan and the other long haired Viking general you get for free at the beginning. I ask to you more experienced players if game bonds activate even in campaigns. Thanks in advance

I can't say I have enough experience already, but the answer is "yes", since I have Justinian and Theodora. One disadvantage though is that all these bond generals should be actually deployed to get access to all available bonuses. Plus both of them should be upgraded to the same rank to unlock all bonuses.

In other cases it will be a lot of grinding, that's true.

Oh, I am afraid it is way ahead of us Besides, something tells me that EW7 will a war of machines (units and engines) rather than a war of generals.

Oh, I am afraid it is way ahead of us Besides, something tells me that EW7 will a war of machines (units and engines) rather than a war of generals. I agree. I was doing an East Francia conquest earlier, and I noticed that noble calvary from a castle without a general had more attack than my heavy lance calvary with belisarius on it. I think generals are weaker in this game compared to earlier ET games because of the lack of decent skills. Because of this lack of skills, I think that late game might be quite hard because you can't really upgrade anything. In previous games, we could always grind and upgrade skills and try again, but in this game we can only upgrade special equipment which while powerful, isn't nearly as good as a couple of decent skills combined.

The fascination behind an actual historical figure (even if in a strategy game) still remains. Sadly you both have right and EasyTech should almost facilitate unit’s fragments collection.
