I love both of them, IMO the Jannisary wins because its survivability is just so much better. -35% damage from all archers? Heck yeah! Besides, it is the only special force with a single handed sword for my Khalid.

Besides, it is the only special force with a single handed sword for my Khalid. Crap I've been spending so much time rerolling for vagranians. Although, I still like vagranian guards because they have a high charge chance. Assuming that you hit a unit with 3 stacks, 35% charge does an average of 70% more damage (I'm assuming charge will do 3x damage but I might be wrong here). So, 2 vagranians with a counter-infantry in front will do more damage and have great survivability. Or you could just go triple vagranians and try to kill everything before they kill you. |

Dat 35% charge doe Khalid deserved to be a tier 4 general He honestly did, being just behind Napoleon, Caesar, Wellington, and Hannibal in most models of best generals in history. Besides, they missed out on a great Hero Legend mission name: Sword of Allah. Also, I was wondering where Suleiman the Magnificent was. I thought he would be the IAP administrator instead of Olga. He would have Fortification Expert 3, Mobilization Expert, Logistics Expert, Plunder 3, and Irritability 2 with Janissaries as his SF. |

Suleiman is about a century off the scope Given how some of the units seem generic they coulda gave him something like arab spearmen with a morale type ability although Janissaries would be better in terms of strength |
