Station J.Bonarparte at Munich. He accumulate funds for you.
Elphinstone is not a good choice.
Cheapest and Effective Generals.
1. Kutaisov Artillery Chief- siege master. 2.. Latour 3. Calvary L'estocq quick and efficient. 4. Kosciuszko has Defense art use him to defend the north when Russia intervenes.

L'estocq is bad. Our damage formula shows that Mobility is worthless. Zakrevsky has way better output than Latour (and is a trainer) for only 45 medals more

I cashed out and got Nelson and Jourdan. Will these help? Damn dude, why Jourdan? U should ask us before buy any general... Better get Lassalle instead of him or Murat, then get another hybird general like Nelson (nice decision). I recommend u to get Radetzky for cav, he cost 8 emblems but he need to be trained 1x.

LaSalle is the same as Golitsyn. Murat is good, so are Radetzky and Dombrowski (almsot identical). Poniatowski is also a solid choice. He (and more expensive, Infantry-oriented Lannes) can command anything

So if have lot of medals go ahead But yes, hes good if max on everything.

Buyer's remorse. Resist that urge. Murat is amazing too. There's always your next phone, when you'll have to begin fresh

Here's the problem: your generals. Joseph is an Econ general without Combat ability. Elphinstone has nothing going for him. Get better generals (Sulkowski/Golitsyn/Ney/Dumouriez for Cav, Picton/Dobeln/Hull/Oudinot for Inf, Scharnhorst/Grouchy/Jourdan/Marmont for Art). I'd recommend a Cav guy,who you can use in the France 1798 conquest to get Princess Sophia, who is an awesome Art General. For whichever general you choose, you will need medals, that you can either Farm for or get by restarting your game. Well in the Chinese forum beating 3 Emperors for 5 stars without generals is considered as beginner skill(while I can only have 4 stars). I got 5 in it when I first time ended it! Generals -only döbeln

When I looked up a way to beat this battle this site sent me to a post by a guy named saltin. I tried his strategy but it just didn't work within about two turns of the russian attack half of my forces were dead or inadequate for battle. Is it just my own mistakes? Or is the strategy wrong? I am equipped with Hull as general at civilian rank.

You'll have to finish within 60 turns but we have many non-general princess guides. You also have Hull, which helps. As far as the mission goes, Davout and Soult are the blood and soul of the mission here. If you use Hull in the north you should be able to kill the first HRE general on the second round by attacking him with everybody. I can't remember what else I did besides going through the south and capturing Vienna. After that, just a standoff against the Russians.
