Hii, just wanna share some of my experiences using Burgundians (Conquest). I literally migrate to England before going back to mainland Europe. Because I cannot compete with enemies that surrounded me. Roman Empire, Salian Franks, Visigothic Kingdom and Alemani are actually the potential (some from the start are already your enemy: Roman Empire and Salian Franks). What I did is forced my way to completely annihilate Salian and declare war with the Anglo-Saxon. They were completely destroyed by Attila HAHAHA then the Huns focus on mainland while I sneak at Denmark be mindful that this is not for speedrunners, but what is important to me is just to get the rewards. Hehe but that is how I completed Burgundian Conquest. I might to it with the Alans because they are smaller and in direct contact with the Huns. HAHAHA with that I was able to get:

Zurich, Dijon, Strasbourg Lyon, Trier, Marseille and Milan together do form that shape. It's also the easiest to form if you stayed.

I got surrounded by enemies on all fronts and destroyed instead. Probably should've given in and paid tribute to both Gothic kingdoms, eh?

And one good way to do it is to try to get as many roman cities as you can before they start spamming, then defeat both visigothicc and brittany kingdoms. try not to get in war with the anglo saxons, well probably that is the one u pay tributes and do that if u can cover that expenses. And just securing passage first for a while is a good strategy to not give them negative opinions.

It is possible to stand and to fight too We have a castle with very powerful units, so we just have to secure our financial base before Huns come. Probably at the expense of Rome. I have chosen to attack Franks first but terrain here is awful for quick advancement. If we are able to unlock them they will smash Huns Ostrogoths are our natural allies in this conquest.

As long as you have Alfred on a noble cav to deploy, any conquest is easy. I had a save on turn 39 with half the world conquered, but then I clicked unlock on the britons to see what it did any my progress got erased . In this game campaign and conquest are independent from cloud save (probably to prevent the reroll-for-abilities cheat) so I couldn't get it back.

Unfortunately, there is a bug with Alfred's Noble cavalry. Hopefully they fix it in the next update.

Yeah, today we settled it down european-war-4.boards.net/thread/17123/max-ll-units-pic?page=6It was rather a "personal" bug that disappeared after the game was reinstalled.
