Hi, what is the point of upgrading units? E.g. I have swordsmen level 7 but in conquest i recruit them on level 2. Does upgrading of units affect anything else than units assigned to generals in "Castle"? Thanks! I think that easytech should make more detailled manuals for their games

There are probably level caps, minimum levels or standardised levels throughout the game. Conquest looks like one of them.
It should raise the levels of your units in Campaign mide and Hero Legends, if deployed.

I think that leveling up standard units is a must. There is a huge difference between a swordsman lvl 1 and a swordsman lvl 10 in both normal and hard campaigns.
