Stuck at Normandy-4 with 5500 medals, who should I buy?
My generals are Justinian, Alfred, Robin, Totilla, Theodora, and the f2ps

Obviously Cnut. Best Infantry available, very strong, great at kicking generals. Maybe Simeon of Bulgaria if you want another cav.
P.S. I JUST FINISHED NORMANDY, GOSH THAT WAS HARD.

Second best cav gen is most likely Simeon but yes, You probably need strong infantry gen.

You can make Totila an Infantry general  I am serious.   Unfortunately, troops with a charge ability are not so common in campaigns and Outburst doesn't work without charge... Cnut is a great option. The guy is almost indestructible and hits like a truck. |

No mention about Khalid :/ One thing I dislike about this game is that theres not much reason to buy a tier 3 general other than maybe harald for that outburst Because tier 4s cost around the same as tier 3s and they come with bonuses and investment potential |

The guy is almost indestructible and hits like a truck. Just think about that Totila with Narses’ unique item(or Beowulf’s one if u want more juice on your “outburst”) and Book of Tactics. |

There are many interesting variations, but as it was said once in a famous movie: a brick can't hit back  I think survivability will be a real issue late in the game and powerful but fragile generals will really vulnerable. |

There are many interesting variations, but as it was said once in a famous movie: a brick can't hit back I think survivability will be a real issue late in the game and powerful but fragile generals will really vulnerable. I don’t care about survivability since Totila can be released as a kamikaze in my view (even if he survived more than I thought in many scenarios, maybe thanks to his cuirass). Since the real bonus given by noble rank, sometimes, is not that big one could give him that armor with -15% damage received. I know brute strength isn’t enough, in fact I mentioned one of the cheapest hero available (Totila) Regarding survivability it is best to mix units in legions as u said before. I’m experimenting with 1 melee cavalry and 2 archers against too many swordsmen. |

Justinian is a great consul and powerful generalist that starts out with high ranks and stats all around, if you need some help grinding conquest his lobbyists makes it so much easier but you shouldn't get him if you don't need lobbyists or you prefer more specialized generals. |
