Lemme just give you a rundown
Norwich: Dean Smith has breathed life back into the club, and they were able to beat Watford 3-0 among their most notable achievements, and play Liverpool twice in two weeks and only come out with a -3 goal-difference. However, their results in the league aren't too convincing, losing to relegation candidates Brentford 3-1.
Watford: Watford were in a freefall until Roy Hodgson replaced Claudio Ranieri as manager. Despite being 75 years old, he now has more clean sheets than Claudio ever did in his entire Watford career, with 0-0 draws against Aston Villa, and Man United (albeit it was a lucky 0-0 draw against Man United)
Burnley: Burnley are the form team in the relegation battle, with as many as 5 games in hand at one point. They beat Tottenham 1-0 at Turf Moor, and many teams going through good runs of form met their match at Burnley's infamous ground. They are getting points on the board now, and have extended the gap between themselves and Watford by 5 points.
Everton: Everton's an interesting team. They gave Man City a run for their money at home, but they also have the worst away record in The League, only getting two wins outside of Goodison. The Goodison crowd are truly what keeps this team going. Everton is a confidence team, and after losing 5-2 to Watford early on in the season, and the fact that their now sacked manager, Rafa Benitez did nothing to bring back confidence in the Everton locker room, (as well as being a Liverpool legend...agent Rafa, he's now being called) and selling off their best Left-Back Lucas Digne to Aston Villa for a paltry 27 million because he "didn't like Lucas' attitude." However Frank Lampard is the new gaffer, the confidence was reborn, and Everton bit back, beating Brentford and Leeds 4-1 and 3-0 at home, as well as being only one proper handball call away from snatching a point against Man City. Players that were written off at the beginning of the season like Alex Iwobi, Mason Holgate and Jonjoe Kenny are now hell-bent to prove that they are worth at least something to Everton, and have gone through their best form in Royal blue in their entire playing career.
Leeds United: Leeds are in freefall. Marcelo Bielsa's kamikaze tactics worked incredibly in the 20/21 season, however due to Patrick Bamford injuries, and an out of form Rodrigo replacing him, they haven't had the goals needed to use those tactics. Because of this, Bielsa left Leeds, and made way for Jesse Marsch, who was manager of 3 Red Bull teams. He has yet to prove he can revive Leeds, but anything has to be better than the 6-1 drubbing Tottenham gave them.
Brentford: Brentford are in freefall. Lucky wins against Aston Villa and Brighton was able to patch over the cracks, but they're beginning to show again. Ivan Toney, after disrespecting Brentford greatly on his vacation in Dubai was started in the next match he was back. The Christian Eriksen transfer was coup, yes, but he hasn't played a minute of competitive football since that fateful night at Parken, so it will take at least 2 months for him to return to form, and by then, it'll be too late. Along with their manager Thomas Frank acting like he's Jose Mourinho when he clearly isn't, and you've got yourself a club on the edge of relegation.
