I just want to know what archer units are the best in the game and which infantry units are the best in the game. It is not the correct question. Correct question is what is the best legion composition? Different units provide different bonuses for the whole legion and it depends on Your playstyle what is the best solution. Maybe You want Your legion to be max mobile (forest and mountain movement) or max damage (but could be at the same time very squishy). So the answer depends on what is best for You. LIke it is possible to create a legion dealing max damage per attack. But sometimes it will be worse than a legion making more attacks per turn. So, check units' skills on the corresponding screen and choose according to Your playstyle. If speaking specifically about melee infantry it is easier than with other unit types. Best unit here is arguably Varangians. But if You use generals with unique item don't forget to add at least one corresponding specific unit to Varangians. |
