Need some help for this one, any tips? My generals are Justinian, Alfred, Cut, Robin, Totilla, Theodora, and all the f2p ones.

Stuck here as well. Does moving northward at the start help? The enemy's offensive against our ally is more decisive than the attack against our city given that defending isn't too hard.

For me this is the hardest mission in the overall normandy campaign, Civil War is a piece of cake compares to this. I have Richard (only spend money for him) but it cost me around 20-30 war drums to win (I have plenty of units near the end tho, so could have save around 5-10 drums). If you want to win with the secondary object fulfilled (target ally gen survive till the end), the key is try to maneuver your force to the north and be a meat-shield for him (enemy gens will focus him hard). Ignore the central city in the first half, because if you capture it then the enemey will focus all force to smash you. You want the enemy to spread their force and attack both you and your ally (except the target gen ofc), so your gens won't be half-dead later on. The north city will be captured multiple times, 1st: ally - 2nd: enemy capture, 3rd: ally re-capture, 4th: enemy capture back THEN you jump in to capture it. From my experience it's not good to take the north city too soon, because your target ally gen with full health will march forward instead of letting us protect him (basically AI suicide attack). After you secure the north city and enemy have around 3 gens left, it's time to capture central city and the other northwest city. To sum up, focus on north front, play defensive on south front (don't move into the central city range). Check your target ally gen health regularly and die for him if needed, but also take advantage of other ally troops as your meat shield too (they will attack hard to reclaim the north city and soften the enemy troops). As usual, EUW7 is less about tactic and more on brute force, if you try all strategies and still not work - it's time to upgrade your gens/units/items.

It was the only one mission when I deployed Adil to save the sorry *Auto corrected* of Henry the First. If we can keep him alive the rest of the mission is rather easy.

Since our own city isn't in any real danger, our first goal is to protect Henry and to recapture the city our allies will loose after turn one. Keep Adil near to Henry all the time After the city is recaptured our next goal is to kill Robert Curthose but to leave William alive for the time being. After Curthose is dead our next goal is to take the lightly defended city in the northeast. William is still alive, though I can kill him anytime After the city in the northeast is taken the rest is a technical win

I'm afraid to imagine this mission on hard difficulty. I still haven’t left Trajan’s Gate, where Karl closed himself with a suicidal jerk and saved the fool Basil, when he had one squad left with 10% health...

Most likely we have to kill all generals with red circles. We don't have to kill them all on normal difficulty to complete it, so the only explanation is that we have to kill them all on hard.

The problem is not only in the generals, but also in ordinary soldiers. They are level 12-14. And the player and allies have 3-5. Kill enemies for a long time, allies die quickly. As I said above, the survival of targeted Allied generals is a big headache.

As I said above, the survival of targeted Allied generals is a big headache. I call it an "artificial" difficulty. Eventually our units will be of higher level too, so this gap will be closed. The main problem, as I see it, is that in comparison to GoG3 or EW5 the battlefields of EW7 are relatively narrow. So, our tactical instruments for solving problems are rather limited. In many scenarios we simply can't avoid being involved in a bloodbath. And such battles are always in favour of AI, because it has more and better troops.
