I personally prefer Konev. Trading off a bit of damage output for superior artillery movement is fine to me. But if I play campaign where the maps are small then Govorov all the way.

How about just have BOTH? Having Govorov doesn't exclude you from having Konev at some point later on. I would love to have both of them (since each of them are quite better than Badoglio the only artillery one that I currently have)

I am aware of that. I meant as a long-term goal you ought have at least 3 artillery generals if not more, right?

Ironically, my favorite mode is conquest, but that's not where I need a general the most. I need to fill out a roster of generals badly for the yellow missions and campaigns. So for myself, I am buying Govorov later when it's time for me to get a second artillery general in addition to Badoglio (which would come in handy for 1975 anyhow)

Both are deadly in campaign and in halting those pesky aliens.

Keep Govorov get Konev later. I agree with you, Govorov is for damage dealing, Konev is for movement and artillery leader. However, if you cannot save up for him, just get Badagolio.

I unlocked konev and I currently have gorvorov, I cant really see the difference between them so should I sell gorvorov and buy konev or keep govorov? Get Konev, he is fast and can do damage. And he is good for infantry, he's like a Yanashita on motorized (I stole that comparison from Manstein).
