P.S. This is my first post here.
As you can see the from the title, this is a post related to asking help and tips & tricks for the conquest of 1806.
I have done many 1798 conquests (Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Russia, Ottoman and Italy) and have a couple of As and Bs. However, I have had only one success (Netherlands) in 1806. I tried Egypt, Spain, Sweden and Netherlands again, but every time my enemies just spam units. They win on literally all fronts. I usually think I'll lose and end the conquest. Is this common?
I am on my HRE and Eastern Europe campaigns and have maxed up all my infantry and artillery, most of my cavalry, and a bit of navy and forts as I could. I have Massena, Karl, Lannes, and Scharnhorst as perma generals and the 4 free generals (Jourdan, Gates, Clinton, and Falsen) whom i will replace with better ones. However, i havent increased anything except the title for any of them.
If you know any tips and strategies for 1806 conquest (and anything for 1798 any conquest in general) please do share. Thank you in advance. IIRC, Saxony was my 1-star. If you can wipe out Prussia early, the game opens up.

1806 leans towards the Coalition given Russia, Prussia and maybe Austria's Red Storm.
The Imperial Eagle faction (France and client states or allies) will succeed in the opening turns, but once the Coalition's biggest land powers gather steam, a massive wave of troops will sweep Central Europe.
When playing as a Coalition state hold out and wait for the Red Storm. Ride it and sweep France away. When playing as an Imperial Eagle state, knock out or cripple Coalition states ASAP. The most vital being the biggest Coalition land powers on the continent.
There are quite a few Conquest guides for this era. You may consult them.
