Having Restarted the game using a mod APK with (literally, in all seriousness, honestly) 100 million each of medals and emblems, I went into France 1798 early in the campaigns (Copenhagen Campaign/Peninsular War) using top-of-the-line full rank generals. To my surprise, I got Sophia, Fatimah, Maria, Sakurako, and Isabela. This shows that these 5 princesses are not tied to campaign progress, which surprised me since I was sure Isabela is.

How many turns did you need? 36 gave me 700 yrs. I once got 750 on my old save at turn 40 (at a later point in campaigns) |

You finished more campaigns, got higher military rank and nobility rank, the years will be more.

Actually you can theoretically get all princesses with no campaign progress. Monty tested this with a mod that allowed him to win the conquest on the first round. (http://european-war-4.boards.net/post/1334)
But your campaign progress, rank, and nobility (though not required) can add the number of your years rule so they are still important.

It can sometimes be random, so if you get 700 years ruled Europe, you can either a 650 year ruled Europe, or many Low years in europe queen.
