Is it worth it to invest in the 3 vikings? Or should we only we focusing on Cnut? I mean, their rage skill is quite tempting indeed if a high dmg general is near them

I mean, their rage skill is quite tempting indeed if a high dmg general is near them I think it depends on several factors. 1. A player has some problems with Naval battles. Some of Alfred's and Cnut's missions are such battles and some treasure missions are as well. I can't say they require additional bonuses to beat them, but it is reasonable to suppose we'll see more Naval battles eventually. 2. A player is planning to invest in Varangians. Varangians are a powerful attacking unit, so 3 legions of Varangians is definitely a force to be reckoned with in Naval battles. 3. A player has enough medals to buy everyone and everything he likes, so why not then? I personally already bought more generals than I really need and yet I still have more than enough medals. All in all, I think, it isn't a bad investment longterm. Nothing spectacular but useful to have at disposal. I think it is an option for f2p players first of all, because players with IAP generals definitely have other priorities at the moment. |

I'm more worried about the supply of scrolls and material to upgrade the generals rank. I'm afraid that if they may be used up on some silver tier viking general, my end-game generals may not have enough. But the offer is quite tempting though, as the rage skill can be very useful in eliminating swarms of troops. Varanginas are great as well, my Cnut does 1k+ dmg with lvl 3 varangians so they should be quite solid.
