Hi all, I have a ridiculous but realistic question. I am thinking of investing money to buy legend generals (to relieve my stress? ). I know Richard I + templar is very strong but I also realized I can get Attila and Saladin together with the same amount. Attila and Saladin are also good legend generals as I know. I am at a normal mode of Macedonian Dynasty and plan to do special mode (Scourge of God or Spear of the Byzantine...) and hard mode later. For the long term, which way would be better?

From what I've heard even Attila alone is better than Richard. andrei, for example, (who purchased both of them and other IAP generals too) said that Attila is far superior to Richard in terms of damage. And Saladin, especially after this last update, is one of top generals as well.

Buying Richard allows you to unlock templars immediately, while f2p players have a long, long way to go before being able to use them. But if you buy Saladin you get a very good privilege, i.e. an additional general that you can deploy in battles, and I think this will be a huge advantage in future complicated campaign missions. And Attila's privileges are nice, too. I also think that we have some alternatives to templars. So, in my opinion, Attila + Saladin might be a better choice.

Attila and Saladin all the way. To add to the reasons, you get 2 Hero Legends instead of one.

I'm more of a cavalry guy, so I vote for Richard. The biggest perk of acquiring Richard is early access to templars, you can field them too to your other cav gens, do note however they are hard/expensive to upgrade. With Richard's privelege you can buy 10 every 48 days lol. I can't say who deals more damage, I still have unmaxed units. I did bought 10 templars at the shop(discounted) and it let me upgrade them to lv3. I have finished the last chapter available (hard) with their help. Btw Atilla's hero legend is free to unlock and Saladin's unique item isn't available yet. If you are into bonds, Richard is needed in 2 of those bonds, this will make him stronger if criteria are met.

The main trump of Richard is his Templars. But with Attila and Saladin, you get 2 Hero Legend. Campaign is not hard with my trick.

Don't forget that Saladin provides players with an early access to Mamluks. And they have no lesser endgame potential than Templars.

idk about atilla or richard but mamluks are great. especially with dodge rate+saladin's new active skill+war gears+thedora or/and adil type support generals, he can do all carry job that u need. kinda immortal and great against tanky enemies.
also his purchase benefit is strong, maybe too strong lol. deploying 2 generals in missions makes ur job too easy. that's the only donwside of him.
