As the title says, on a scale of 10, how would you rate EW7? and why?

I give EW7 6/10.
Pros:
1. Revolution of skill system.
2. Revolution of Legion system, you can mix units.
3. Revolution of attacking and movement system.
4. Revolution of hex and terrain system.
5. New war-gear, unit perks, bonds.
Cons:
1. Too many IAPs, and too much Birdcage effect to force players buying things.
2. Medals/gold system problem, the cost increased like oil price. 10000 medals is just a small number now.
3. So many new things come with many bugs.
4. So many “artificial-super-legion” that breaking the game’s rule, this game comes not much strategy, they’re forcing people to SPEND MONEY.

Overall impression very positive, but still too early to give a thorough evaluation. I miss the hex-based movement system, despite the new one being a refreshing novelty.
I can just rate Easytech's PR approach as very bad. Maybe if they waited 6-10 months to give us a game with full content (instead of releasing it in february), we wouldn't have had so much to complain about.

8/10 though this is still early in the game
+ Consul are important
+ bronze generals are useful
+ great items on generals
+ War Gears especially ships
+ Diverse options of units
+ Gacha to afford units and war gears even though some hate this
+ Resources are easy to grind
- lack of content for conquest ( Add Hard mode)
- Free Generals items should not be locked although can be dropped its effectiveness instead

Solid 8/10.
Good:
It has amazing movement, Terrain, and non-hex tiling.
Legion structure is revolutionary and amazing.
Has great general structure.
Has a great balance of incentivising IAPs and not forcing you to buy them (i.e. in this game the IAPs are worth it but not too good).
Conquests are the best out there.
Hero Legends are super fun.
Bad:
Campaigns suck. They invoke no imagination found in games like GOG3 or GCR.
Less than Half released.
Still haven't fixed Normal to Hard transition page.

I think it is the most p2p game among all easytech game.it is also super grinding. Too much booring.Champain is either too easy or too tough.Only need brute force. IN GOG 3 I NEVER NEED TO GRIEND.Actually nothing to do now without daily task.planing to stop playing. I can come back when all content is published.Thank u.

I'd give EW7 a 7/10
Let's start with what the pros, I love what they did with the legion mechanic and the ability to mix and match different units brings so much possibilities, conquest feels fun and less grindy with the introduction of different objectives and free diplomacy, I also love the theme in general, it feels like a breath of fresh air and gives it a unique niche compared to their other games.
Now onto the cons, I hate what they did to terrain and tiling in this game, terrain does nothing except slow you down and tiling makes the game more restrictive compared to the other ET games, enemies in this game are usually a lot stronger than the player and with the game being more restrictive is a big handicap for the average player as they have less tools to even the odds against them, this is made worse thanks to the fact that campaigns are more linier and offer less freedom in how we complete them.

It's a good game but there's too much grinding and also there's not enough strategy needed in this strategy game. It also doesn't help that there are 8 IAP generals+a bunch more locked behind buying medals and the paid side of the honour pass. On the plus side, there's much better conquests and mixing units opens up a whole new world of possibilities. It's very unique compared with other ET games but I am sometimes missing the old games.
