If we speak about strong gens like Atilla. For weaker gens Crossbow will probably be better. |

I guess that a steel crossbow is better suited for a general with an active skill this weapon improves. I recall Subutai had it before they locked skills of unavailable generals.
And Attila doesn't really need an English longbow.
So, I believe, damage increase or reduction items are better in this particular case.
