Can we get a discussion going on Nur Din? I’m tempted to buy him but the fact that his weapon is locked behind paywall is telling me not to. He’s fairly cheap though and comes with hero legend plus if it comes down to it you could just slap someone else’s weapon like Attila’s bow for example and make him a more than capable archer gen. I also have El Cid and Narses though who are also archer gens which deters me from investing in Nur Din.

Plus I forgot to add he’s one of the few remaining top tier generals that are going to be f2p. That is if the not available for purchase designation means that they are going to be locked without paying, which presumably it does. If that is the case only Edward I, Barbarossa, and Robert the Bruce are going to be the only top tier generals available after him and El Cid. With Robert the Bruce’s weapon being the only one that is f2p which is quite sad

So far I don't think Nur Din has shown us any particularly convincing abilities. If you really need another archer right now, Aetius could work as a temporary option.

They give us 3 Premium Generals for 3 unit types: Alfred for Cav, El Cid for Archer, Cnut for Inf. The main trump of Nur Din is his Hero Legend.

But the fact, that he has his special chapter, is a very good reason to purchase him, imo. We get scrolls, iron, tons of gold and other resources for completing both normal and hard campaigns. It is a good investment for 1700 medals, I believe.
