Almost every one said that Varangian is the way to go, but after I check it, stat wise shouldn't janisary be a better pick?
Is there any reason why Varangian is such a preffered pick? I'm kindda lost.

I'm kindda lost. Better atk type, better charge rate and better skill set. And Varagian is much easier to get fragment (in gold shop). |

I don't think it is "either/or" situation at the moment. Actually Varangians are the only one available option right now. My guess is that majority of players will have lvl 13-15 Varangians at their disposal when Janissaries will be unlocked. So, the only one serious rival for Varangians are Nordic axemen.
Varangians are a good and powerful unit, but, first of all, there are few alternatives in any observable future. And, even when we'll unlock Janissaries, they will be a pain to upgrade with all these t5 and t6 units around.

There is also a possibility that Janissary and Dragoons skill sets will be adjusted/modified. Right now they don't look like better choice. No reason to farm for tier6 fragments and ET would like us to farm anyway, so...  |

I am even afraid that skills of currently available units will be adjusted/modified The most unpredictable ET game so far I was going to play Wild Rift just for fun but noticed that it is almost impossible to do, since they change skills and stats of heroes every month. I hope ET won't ever do anything like that |

Thx, I'm still new so I don't know that janisary still hasn't come out yet (I'm still on macedonian normal). So I guess varangian Will be the focus for now. |

There are many opportunities to get t5 fragments in a regular shop, but t6 fragments are rare guests there. I recall yuanzhong said that he had seen t6 medical tent fragments only on a couple of occasions, and he is the man who apparently has a world record in refreshing the shop I myself can't say whether I was lucky enough to get a single t6 fragmet in the regular shop or not. Probably not. Taking all this into account I would keep your medals for T6 fragments exclusively, since they are obviously a pain to get otherwise. |

El CID and Harald Hardrada on blue vikings are unstoppable (top shield just like templars, highest damage on infantry and an easiest way to level up straight to lvl15).
However I’d suggest to level up both Varangians and Blue Vikings because you have enough resources to do this and you will earn many points for proof of honour.
