Meh, you can finish the Eastern Front without buying any generals and save your medals for Pacific 1942 and buy MacArthur, but you can also finish Pacific 1942 without any general. So save your medal, by the way, who's your general?

well someone did free general run from start to 1941 africa i think,also if i can finish the side objective in battle of LA with NO generals then you can too

I'm currently in the eastern front 1941 who is the next general that I should buy? General advice is to focus on the more difficult Axis first, so I would get Leeb then Guderian. After that, you might want to get Roko, but 1942 is around the corner so you may want to save for an admiral and Rundstedt/MacArthur |

Even 1942 Pacific Allies, I survived that hell with free generals. Different story for Axis tho. |
