This is Comrade Maria, I have so far beaten all Cold War scenarios other than NATO 6. The scenario in which the USA invades the Antarctican SSR. My generals are Konev, Vatutin, Guderian, and Nagumo. They have either few or no upgrades, depending on which. My tech is mid-high Cold War, my Rocket Artillery never receive retaliation, my tanks have a 75% chance to attack again, my units normally have good but not perfect stats. Does anyone have any strategy that would work for me, and be unlikely to fail from luck?

comrademaria Welcome to the forum! Go to the city where the infantry general sits without touching the islands (you may weaken them with your cruisers) only take the port then take the city where Novikov sits (Zhukov will nuke you so keep some resources in hand) after you take the city rush the center city with your commanders take the other two cities and then bomb the weakened island and parsnip it

I tried following your instructions, and even avoided having Guderian nuked on turn 13 (Zhukov shot Nagumo instead), but I seem to not be able to win, as I have one too few tank generals, it seems like. Is it possible with my generals? If so, what did I do wrong? I spent most of my income on nukes, what should I have been spending on? If you could tell me what I should produce with my resources, that would help.

Phase 1: Landing I sent Nimitz to attack the Soviet navy (except Kuznetsov) while the destroyer wrecks the Coastal Artillery. Guderian will land first, then Konev and Rommel, attack Vasilevsky's city ASAP and kill him so allies would have morale drop Phase 2: Blitz through the East After the Landing Phase, attack Novikov's city. Once you capture it i built Financial Center (optional). Nimitz captured the Soviet port then bombarded Chuikov. Then, i attacked Bagramyan and captured his city. Phase 3: Operation Spyglass (i just got random name lol) We went North then attacked Konev's city. The Soviet morale boost happened when i captured Konev's city. Then, i attacked Zhukov (i built a nuke). When Chuikov is dead, i paradropped to his city. Rommel died to Zhukov, then, i launched a few missiles to Timoshenko, i launched 2 nukes at him. Guderian died to some units. Nimitz bombarded Timoshenko's city but died too. then, once Timoshenko is gone i paradropped to his city.

What did you make in your cities for this? Tanks? Artillery? Nukes? Ships? Infantry? I could use some advice on what to train. Your guide otherwise seems sensible, although how do you plan on getting enough science without a science building in Novikov's city?

Thank you, I won a 1-star victory by using rocket artillery to take Zhukov, then using what was left, and missiles, some with nukes, on Timoshenko. The reaction in which matter ceases to be was most of enough to clear the island, when I used the captured Soviet lab.

I Didn't really recruit. only some light infantry to defend the cities. I made around 3 nukes in this mission (1 in Timoshenko's city, and 2 in Zhukov's) tbh I put a Financial Centre in Novikov's city. Maybe also put Technology Centre there. Generals used there: Guderian, Konev, Nimitz, Rommel
