Which are the two best artillery? I'm considering 2 of John, Alexander and Mahmud. Alternatively I could get Sophia, but she is a pretty good palace princess.

Like, for example, what does he have over Alexander? An extra 6% attack when you can't find mountains, plus crit. But honestly you can't go wrong with any of these three. Just get whoever you feel like. |

Anyways, I think I'll go with Mahmud+Alex because Aura is quite good and if I have them together, artillery expert on Alexander is better than jungle fighting on John. |

Btw, are there any easy 1812 S-rank that I could feasibly do with Massena+Karl? Massena has few upgrades and no items while Karl is almost maxed. I'm trying to unlock Lan right now because I want a cheap calvary.

But if you choose coalition countries in Europe you would finish more quickly because you don't have to worry about America (the US may conquer a lot of cities, but are unable to defeat Canada or Mexico). |

I tried splitting but that just resulted in both pushes being too weak and stalling out. Naples is not on the coalition side. It's better if you choose a coalition country, imo. You would have to face a lot of spam, but the conquest will be quicker. Try Spain, Morocco or Egypt. With the countries on the French side you might have an easier start, but the conquest would be much longer (maybe you could still get s rank, but it's harder). For 2 stars countries, Algeria could be easier than Sweden or Prussia, but you would still need to go to Canada and Mexico. If you choose Algeria, send 2 or 3 clippers in the first turns (or when you can afford them) to steal the US ports, so they will be forced to produce only land units and will hold out better (they usually spam ships, iirc). |
