Now with upgraded items and generals empowered with bonds, this HL wasn't that much of a challenge. I went through everything without repeating and without using Supplay packages. All missions I crossed 3-5 turns before the set parameters. 1 - Mithridates, Tigranes, Pacorus, 3 slot 2 - Mithridates, Tigranes, 3 slot 3 - Mithridates, Surena, Pacorus, 4 slot 4 - Mithridates, Surena, Pacorus, Attila, 3 slot 5 - Mithridates, Attila, Pacorus, 3 slot 6 - Mithridates, Attila, Tigranes, 4 slot 7 - Mithridates, Attila, 4 slot 8 - Mithridates, Atilla, 4 slot

First level for the Great Wall This wasn't too bad/difficult, considering the challenges we faced so far. I just go south to take the cities and then go east. The building in the centre spawns elite warriors. But on turn 8, this Emperor Chariot unit appeared. This has absurdly powerful abilities and stats. The tooltip is blocking it a bit, it has 64 defence and just over 3000 hp. I was already close to finishing the level at that point but I dread seeing it again.

You have to see the dragon 😁 both opponents have to get rid of using archers, they just hit too hard to waste precious hp inf and cav generals.

Navia Lanoira, Thanks to march skill, and the ability to attack multiple targets at once, Attila is the most useful general in the entire game, of course when not controlled by stupid AI 😂

2nd level Attila on the cavalry unit was the key to completing this level. He had march so he can move fast and decent cavalry ability. Any other cavalry general with march could work, Antony would be a good choice. My other units couldn't keep up so I just left most of hem in the top left. Just follow the path and kill the enemy units with the yellow circle. Most enemy units are stationary but there are the 2 griffons units which will spawn and attack. Killing the yellow circle cavalry in the bottom left will cause the Emperor Chariot to switch to your side and spawn 2 infantry units for you. Killing the infantry before the end point will cause Cleopatra to spawn in the way. She had very little hp so I just needed to use a force march on Attila after killing her to get to the end point.
3rd level I do believe in taking initiative to destroy the fortresses and take the enemy cities. To decrease the number of enemy units spawning and gaining the population (plus upgrading the buildings for population) to spawn your own units. I had some units go to the south to take the initiative and leave the rest to defend. On turn 10 Han Xin will spawn in the top, killing him causes the enemy a morale drop. The Behemoth on turn 12 appear to be the final monster spawns.
4th level I started taking the enemy cities from the top. I didn't deal with the enemy units in the sea to the right. They eventually started attacking my cities and I was able to spawn some troops later on to hold the cities. Later on, a large number of enemy units and Han Xin will spawn in the sea. I think this was caused by taking the enemy city. Killing Han Xin causes the enemy a morale drop.

5th level Killing the han general with the yellow circle will cause your ally forces to be under your control. On turn 4 Wei and several units will spawn in the centre. Destroying the building with the yellow circle caused the building in the top and the monster it spawns to change to your side. I think it will also cause the building at the bottom to change side too but I destroyed it before going for the middle building.
6th level Turn 2 Huo will spawn in the centre Turn 3 Li and Wei will spawn on the sides with a army of Terracotta Warriors Turn 4 Han Xin will spawn the top, a army of elite warriors spawns behind Huo, a elite warrior spawns in the bottom right, and a emperor chariot spawns at the bottom left. After this turn, they will all starting moving. I want to try avoid facing the emperor chariot so I took the bottom right city and went anti clockwise to take the other cities. Theres going to be a big clash with the spawned troops and troops will need to defend the bottom right city. In the end I didn't destroy the emperor chariot and only hit it with archers.
7th level Killing the enemy general with the yellow circle will spawn reinforcements in the sea for you. I sent these reinforcements to take the city on the left. Midway, Huo and cavalry spawn in the sea. I sent my Attila and Mithridates to hold the right side against these reinforcements in the end. I made a attempt on killing the emperor chariot. I might have killed it if I kept going and I moved my archer generals to it but it was my first time doing the level and I didn't want to risk not completing the level. In hindsight it might have worked better if I sent the reinforcements to the right city and have them defend it. While my other troops keep going west.

Don't know if it applies to you and your team But instead of killing the temples, it is also possible to surround them with cheap/weakened units. This will prevent them from creating new units and we can shift 2000-3500 damage to targets with higher priority.

8th and final level I focussed on defending the south and attacking the north first. I focussed full fire on the Emperor Chariot with ranged units and used arson on it. Destroying the Emperor Chariot will cause a morale drop on the monsters. Once the north is cleared, I rushed the troops south to take the remaining cities. The enemy attack on the centre city also collapsed around this time. in hindsight, one of my mistakes was spending my general attacks on the temples. Midway through my mind went "Wait, why am I spending my general attacks on these temples when I could just block them with 3 folder units?". You can see in the last screenshot I blocked the top left temple with 3 infantry units I built. It didn't matter much for me in the end, but its probably important for teams with less firepower in getting a 3 star. The temples at the top only have 3 open spots near them so its easier to block.
