5th level
This is intimidating level when I saw it. We see the first appearance of the ancient giant and barbarian king
I had a lucky start as my Hannibal on the first turn (after using a force march) was able to strike the barbarian king with the guerrilla skill activating on the attacks.
Overall this level is a mix of attack and defence
6th level
Only thing I would note is the barbarian king will spawn from the temple after turn 2.
7th level
Taking the city Pacorus is on will cause several enemy troops to spawn nearby.
8th level
This levels feels like a milestone. Now 3 god enemies appear.
Note that the enemy Pacorus is equipped with a upgraded with tutankhamun dagger so will cause poison. I was going to strike him with my Hannibal so I gave him the badge to reduce poison damage.
Capturing the city Pacorus is on will cause enemy units to spawn nearby here too.
Our 2 forces are separated at the start and I quickly moved them into a position where they can support each other.
The ancient giant and dragon seemed really passive in this level. I had my units one hex away from them and they did not move to attack. The barbarian king was a bit more active as it moved when my forces were near.
Crassus dying/losing his city will cause a morale drop on our force.
I generally don't attack the gods with my melee units, even my generals but I managed to surround the dragon and cause a double morale drop. At least for my general Hannibal, I felt the damage was reduced enough for him to do attacks.
This was a noticeable chapter as we encounter the dragon, ancient giant, and barbarian king for the first time. That leaves Horus and Achilles we yet to encounter in hero legend. I definitely expect to encounter them next chapter.
