Even with my super team I found this nut quite tough to crack for 3*; I did it in 22 turns after about 3 attempts but it took many more to get down to 20, trying quite few different combos.
In the end the winning strategy was to go for maximum firepower in the south with Richard wielding Gungnir and supported by Barb & Petain, and their objectives were to capture all of the targets on that peninsular and destroy the northern city and take the building.
Alex with Mystletainn was in the centre with Arthur, destroying the first tower and killing Athena & Dark Arthur.
Caesar and Joan's job in the north was only to kill a few enemies and capture some coins; the other objective being to hold onto to the 2 barracks with spawned infantry units. I gave up trying to kill northern Fenrir as I just couldn't do it quickly enough for turning the tower next to Zeus to make any great difference.
This was the hardest one in infantry and I hope someone manages to find a better way!

Nice! Do you think it pays off to upgrade generals to lvl 7 so they have the chance to attack again? I'm slowly doing it for my super team of Alexander, Barbarossa, Leonidas, Beowulf, Petain, Peter, Xerxes and Kemal

I'd focus on just 6 top guys though as you only use 8 in the last trial, and the right 6 might even be enough for that. Any particular reason why you're not including Joan? She seems an obvious choice to me: very tanky and not too expensive to upgrade.

But I know that she is better and it would not be too expensive to bring her at Kemal's lvl.

That is setting my morale down because o still not even have an inf-superteam to play and your is including all the tops inf general. So far which team are you using? I see Caesar, Alex, barb, Richard, Joan and Petain, I can guess the rest can be Peter and one between Beowulf/Leonidas or are you using xerxes as 4th commander?

I just brought in Leo & Beo for the last trial, as I said earlier this is the only one where you can field more than 6. Team here:
