Has this happen before, In ew7?
If so does anyone know which one get discounted for 50% (it's 10-50% for not yet disclosed item in shop)

Recruit scroll (both units and war gears): 50% Units and Wargears fragments x10: 10% General upgrade material: 40 or 50%, I don't remember. Before 1.4.0, this is the best way to upgrade units with reroll but now it's just a "who cares" event for almost players. |

2 questions:
1. is it advised for f2p players to purchase mercenary orders (already 1.4.4 version)
2. can i cloud save before purchases in this market as well? if i change my mind after the purchase, do i get medals back?

On your first question I'm not sure... I'm actually wondering the same thing lol For the second question I'm pretty sure you can cloud save before purchases on the market as well and you should be able to get your medals back (I'm not sure so I would double check first or don't spend all your medals). |

Following Andrei's advice: 1. No need for now. Although Recruit scroll will be the most important resource to upgrade highest tier units when they're unlocked in the pool. But this event will return, so no need to rush now, save your medals for generals, items to prepare for next harder battle. About shop reroll with medals, I think the best result is including 2 scrolls + 3 tier 5 units (only 3 available in shop) + other units (3 - 4 tier 4) + wagon + other war gears, i met this number several times so it's possible. You can convert fragments into soul the set up threshold, 100 souls + 1 unit scrolls should be the lowest. For free reroll, the number must be lower to save time but when you spend medals, should try for best reroll. 2. You can use cloud save for your case, even when you bought IAPs, just use recover feature in shop and you will get back what you bought although you don't save data (i did it once while I bought Matilda and reroll right after that). |

Hengdao+Varangian+General unit is propably the best possible combo for infantry gens imo. Not sure if master of assault boosts Hengdao damage (likely not) but Hendgao is propably best inf stat-wise and you get both forest and mountain terrain skills, so you have very fast infs.
Still, I burned like 17k medals for scrolls 😅, becouse most of my units are still quite low level and I want to upgrade others too.
Feels waste to spend 6000k+ medals to get ONE lvl for ONE unit once it is high enough lvl and requires 30 or more fragments per upgrade.

If your varangians are at high levels (14+), it will be less firepower temporarily, but the mobility boost might be worth it if you didn't have any other source of climb. Don't know if infantry Cid is the best example here since his weapon doesn't boost the capability and you'd still have to add one conquistador for the +20%. So he would have only 2 units charging. If you don't use his special unit, then Cid is slightly worse than Hardrada in terms of damage output per outburst.
As for how to get them, cheapest would be via scrolls if you're in no rush. Depending on your re-roll strategy, 5 fragments of hengdao is a realistic base line with 5 other t6 fragments. Of course, you could also only take those results where there are 2 hengdaos in every second 10-pull.
Getting them with silver coins is also cheaper but you need to re-load the territory shop several times. Getting 10 hengdaos instantly is fastest but most expensive.
1750: 5 fragments +5 other t6 and 90 other random units (t2-t5) with "basic" re-load patience
1600 (or 1440): 10 specific fragments via territory shop with re-load patience
2115: get 10 instantly
And conkueror , hengdao unfortunately need master swordsman, master of assault doesn't work (tested with Martel and gem combinations). |

Time to save medals or earn a few more for example by first time completing some hegemony conquests or getting 200 points (1000 medals as reward) in territory.

I have almost 20k medals and today is the first day of a sale offering us Mongolian Raiders. I have mine at lvl 8 and don't use them much. Is it worth to upgrade them? Aren't they too fragile for an endgame content such as Templars' treasure missions?
Of course, 3 attacks are tempting, but their defence is suspiciously low. I am kind of skeptical they can survive the first blow.
