You now get medals for replaying campaigns!!! If we find the right campaign I think it's could be better than Netherlands!!

I'm currently at the British campaigns and you can get 25 medals by replaying a campaign which is probably more time efficient and better than Netherlands

We do get less gold but now I can auto missions like trafalgar and get 25 medals in like 5 minutes

Ofc this could be something old that I don't know about because I haven't really replayed missions before...

Then do lexington or tutorial over and over again. The issue is that they give out much lower rewards if you play earlier chapters.

Since I got the update on PC, I have been using Ligny in the Prussian campaign rather than Trafalgar. I have better land generals, and have been able to do it it the same timeframe as Trafalgar. It offers 33 medals instead of 25, and while Wellesley, Blucher, or the green objective may fall, as long as two of them don't happen at the same time, you should be fine, and in my experience, that is uncommon.

Did you auto it or did you control it yourself? I think if you don't have navy gens grinding the second american campaign might be slow, but okay. Honestly for me with Massena, Murat and Sophia I can do this in like 40 seconds.

For endgame players, who is grinding for Crimea, i think most time-effective mission is Battle of Pichincha in Libaration of South America. I can finish mission in 6-8 rounds in 3-5 minutes and it gives 40 medals. Δ°t doesn't have powerful enemy generals and have easy goals.

Instead of battle of trafalgar you can do battle of copenhagen on auto-able. It's less effective but still acceptable
