Just beat Greek Trial 1. Pretty easy. Nothing much to write home about. Only took this long because I was just grinding Loki.

Just beat Greek Trial II against Poseidon. It was way easier than I thought, so I have high hopes Zeus will be the same way. It's been a while since I fought him, but I know my melee units will be ineffective. Any suggestions? Also, do you think Richard with Thunder is a good idea? If not, then which infantry general should I have Thunder to, or if not infantry, than which other general?

I think that you should give Thumder to Alexander and Gungnir to Richard Thanks for the advice. Greek III is pretty smooth sailing up to Zeus himself. He just does too much damage to my troops, and my units can't get any debuffs on him because of the Caeser being too tanky, allowing for Zeus to body my Nobunaga Oda. Zeus will always target Nobby from what I've seen in my multiple tests, he just won't attack Caeser or Alex  |

YDE, this could be because your infantries have shield ability and Zeus being an archer "anticipates" the damage reduction or Nobunaga has the lowest defense stat and Zeus wants to deal as much as possible so he selects the weakest link. I assume you already tried different starting positions otherwise this would be another suggestion. Apart from that, sending in a cavalry heavy B team to take out Caesar and then switching equipment back to A might do the trick.

I think AI prioritizes attacking generals with low total health rather than low defense. At least this is what I observed in the NDB. |

No objections  since I was just throwing around suggestions and never paid attention during grinding hundreds of ndbs |

YDE, Just see this thread as I haven't visit EW5 forum for a long time until recently with the castle update. I play infantry heavy, so I was in your shoes except: 1) I have richard and you have saladin 2) You update nobu to gunpowder while my nobu was at discover My only advice for you is to get Richard as it's suited for your infantry heavy team, and incorporate Bismarck for his rumor. But other than that your team's gear and skills are superior than the team I used to beat. Plus you have friendly boost, so you might able to brutal force it more than me.

None of my generals are end game tier, all in 5*, awakened beo in red star. Grinding up medals to save up is a hassle, and I don't seem to have enough time to really sit down and do campaigns or conquests (I'm really behind on those.) Might make a day to exclusively focus only on this file until I get more caught up lol |

I find such videos extremely useful for understanding the general mechanics of a scenario (switches & triggers, optional extra resources, exact positions of enemy generals, etc) and being able to skip/ play them at 1.5x or 2x is even better. And, looking at equipment and generals enables me to quickly identify how far away from beating the mission with a similar strategy.

Alright it's settled. I'll re-do the hard campaign missions (the ones already unlocked) without BoL while recording. I'll probably break it up like the unlocked missions first, then each stronghold mission (the ones we have to buy to unlock) will have their own vid. Or maybe I'll do one campaign group each vid. Example: One vid for both Leonidas' campaigns. |
