Hey everyone. Thought it would be nice to start a working diary of my struggles through the game with an infantry heavy team. I have decided not to use the 2 IAP gens I bought way before, but I will use BoL as it's just a nice thing to have, but I won't use it for Legends until I beat the trial I want to use it on (example: No BoL for Nordic 1 until I beat Nordic 1 without BoL).
Speaking of which, I actually beat Nordic 1 without BoL (Alexander had the grass cutting blade, but it really made no difference as I didn't upgrade it at all). I only had Empire and Medieval age generals, so if anyone is looking for a walkthrough for beating Nordic with generals you most probably have, then here you go.
I'll post a new update when I beat Nordic Trial II (I won't use BoL until I beat BOTH Fenrir and Snek boi) I always found snek boi to be the easier of the two. Wish me luck overcoming that obstacle. Everything else in the game I'm cruising through no problem. Campaigns haven't been a problem yet, neither has conquest. The only thing that's really slowing me down is low resources and medals.
Very fun with this new team so far. I have big plans for generals I never/barely used before (Nobby is an exception)

triple healing  would be nice if you went through your generals at the beginning so we can see levels and equipment It's there, must have accidentally skipped it |

It's conventional to be General Sir rather than Sir General, in English at least.

It's conventional to be General Sir rather than Sir General, in English at least. I'm doing an infantry run, I don't do conventional lol But when I first made it, Sir General sounded better in my head. As an American, English isn't my best language lol |

Just beat Nordic Tiral II Jormungand first try. It was definitely way easier, now I just have to worry about trying to beat Fenrir (my OCD prohibits me from going any further until I beat him lol) Here's the vid if you wanna see. Discovery and Empire generals used:

A great victory today. I just beat Fenrir with only Discovery units, no BoL, no IAP gens, etc. Very proud of myself, and I am now moving on to Hel. Let's hope she isn't as bad... though I dread when I inevitably have to fight Loki. His rumor will be a pain... Does anyone know off the top of their head if Caeser has a special item. I think the book in the shop written by him does, but I'm not sure (I might be mistaking it with Napoleon's).

After multiple attempts, I finally beat Hel, and with it, the door to Loki is open... however, I doubt I'll be able to beat him any time soon. If you all have any advice or tips on how to confront him, let me know. There are tips or guides to clearing Legend Mode, more specifically Zeus in Greek Decisive Battle III. Should apply to Loki as well.
If not confident of your core 6-8, you should have 4 more in reserve who you can deploy for round 2 against the bosses or any earlier stage.

Sending in the B team first to clear the wolves is a good idea and ideally you leave the front center spot open to not get attacked by Loki during this stage. After this, it's a matter of surviving long enough against the frost giant while Loki is still not debuffed. Collecting 3x +50% vs archers helps a lot.

After this, it's a matter of surviving long enough against the frost giant while Loki is still not debuffed. Collecting 3x +50% vs archers helps a lot. I always wondered if buffing your own troops was better or debuffing the enemy. The wolves will be a pain with their debuff for sure. |

Back then I was throwing everyone I had at the gods so the attack bonus is imo more useful. But if you have a pure inf team then the +30%HP and dmg might be better. |

I just beat NDB after many attempts! The unit buffs were very lucky and so was the battle with Loki, as his rumor barely went off on Caeser! Now I have the Mystletainn, but I'm not sure who to give it to? Alexander? Cleo? Or someone else?
