I'm at gunpowder age but all my are 4th tier and have 1800 medals enough to upgrade 1 general so who to upgrade here is my top 6
Attila, Saladin, Alex, Barbarossa,Li Shimin And nobby

He still is viable in gunpowder age campaign in his discovery form. If you like Attila's hussar perk (80%+ damage to infantry), then upgrade Sally, or maybe Bobby. Li's a costly upgrade, but it could be good to get it out of the way, but imo artillery should be the last unit you upgrade. So to answer, either one of the commander generals, or whoever carries you the most. Upgrade Nobby and Li later |
