I don't know what to do, I tried killing the yellow objectives and all I get was more units and Saladin comes knocking. I tried rushing the city, but the city have tons of hp and the unit would heal it very fast. I tried killing all the other enemy units in hopes of an event to do something but nothing happened. Help.

You must kill Saladin before attacking the city. |

Apparently you should put a unit near Barb to get a Knight unit, and then just focus on Saladin. Took him down by saving Alfred and Basil's lives and just railroaded him once he came |

A note for people who haven't completed it, if you kill Saladin, he will peacefully give the city to you.

A note for people who haven't completed it, if you kill Saladin, he will peacefully give the city to you. Killing Saladin wins this level because afterwards the city is immediately transferred to your control and the level ends. The way to beat this level is pretty simple... try to avoid attacking the city and use Cnut abilities on the garrison there (because the garrison in the city hits really hard due to the troops having increased health/damage). The city constantly gets repaired/garrison healed so *literally* the only way to win this level is to kill the generals with the yellow circles first so that Saladin shows up. Next you must kill Saladin and then you will finish the level. Try to avoid having any troops stand next to the city because the boosted garrison there will kill them |

Just kill Saladin and all problems are solved. If you want Saladin to appear, kill 3 gold targets
PS: I don't know why this level Barbarrossa disappears so quickly. It's like he's drowned

btw if you put one of your 2units legion nearby to barbaros, he gives you his units by his active skill before he is drowned
