i recruited melee inf 1st turn and put antonina on it to heal the guy back up next turn. 2nd turn the same with theodora. but instead of resetting antoninas heal i reset cnut who i used 1st and 2nd turn to debuff enemy archers so that the guy takes less damage in the first place and threw my generals at them. clearing the room around the guy. used 3 war drums: on basil, alfred and el cid.
overall tactics: i went north and killed everything working my way eastward. healer and dmg dealers alike. unlike in normal mode where i only sent protection north, but my damage dealers south to break trough the defenses and take the city.
