I have just restarted playing this game and am really lost on what general I should aim for. Everything is so expensive!

How many medals do you have? Badoglio-Ozawa duo is the most classic starting lineup but you can certainly do with some improvements if you can gather more. Guderian is your biggest priority right now. If you can't reach Guderian but have gathered much more than what Badoglio demands, go for Govorov.

I have 1970 medals right now, haven’t bought a single gen yet. I think I’ll go for Govorov cause I’ve seen what he can do haha Getting Govorov is a good idea. I'd assume you haven't built all medal wonders yet, so campaigns are your biggest source of medals now, which allows you to afford Guderian. |
