My city has already been claimed 😡 so I'm happy to be put in the most irrelevant out-of-the-way corner while I figure things out))

And, it's never too late to join. Then, as for your city, John Marston said he'd take Thessalia, but change to Dorics if nobody else took it by the beginning of the RP. Once we started, I changed his side to Dorics and now Darth Revan_ took Thessalia. But, unless John Marston decides to go back to Thessalia and Darth Revan_ takes something else. Anyways, I'd suggest the Ionic states in Italy. Although it's not Akragas, it's still Greek with alot of cities in the peninsula and Sicily with a decent army. Also, I would get someone to fight for the control of southern Italy. |

I send ambassadors to Agyrrion, inviting the Sicels to become my vassals. Secretly, they are also instructed to make an assessment of the Sicels' military strength. I also begin questioning merchants who trade with the Sicels.
Purely coincidentally, a force of 10,000 begins gathering in the region of Catane and Leontinoi for exercises.

I come from the city of of Acragas, which is currently ruled over by the brutal tyrant Loki Odinson. However, it has been foretold by the Wikipedian Oracle that I must become the ruler of my city, and I see it as my divine mission to bring this to pass. But my goals go farther than that, for Acragas surrounded on all sides and blockaded by sea is of little use to me. My desire is to unite all of Sicily under the Ionic banner.
Where, you may reasonably ask, do you come in? It is an unfortunate but undeniable fact that the forces of Loki Odinson are stronger than my own, and therefore I am forced to seek assistance to put an end to his vile scheming. And to whom better to turn, than to the magnificent and undisputed ruler of this great sea of ours? Besides, you have elephants, and they're cool 😀
What do you gain from this? Naturally, unrestricted access and preferential treatment for your merchants. And one can never have too many friends. The same Oracle assures me that the city of Rome will become a great power and will wage war on Carthage, but that Carthage will conquer with the aid of its allies. More precisely, once Sicily is in my hands, you shall have the right to call on my army to assist in your wars (within reason). Beside from RP, these days I am very very busy with my school work so I think there is no more options left for me than to quit my position. Or, Should I open a market for my units? Will I get costomers then? Willn't it be a disaster for Carthage?

Since Kjv sent 10 thousand troops to Athens, I might as well do the same. But I will send a smaller force of 8 thousand troops, as our soldiers aren't a lot. We should conserve our troops in case we have to defend our holdings in the Aegean Sea. |
