There are so many strong contenders. How specialist javelineer killer Vercy, given the choice between a javelineer and a horse archer, always attacks the horse archer. How your generals choose to move into nowhere instead of attacking - especially fun when your archers do it. Pompey clutching the win, and then unclutching by stubbornly refusing to finish off the javelineer. Spartacus and his 100% crit rate for the other team. How you line up your generals near the people you want them to fight, and then they move halfway across the map to bash their faces against Labienus or Pompey (at least you get your money's worth on Riding Master).
But my personal favorite is the "nobody touch Attila" game. The point of this game is to very carefully fight against everybody but Attila, and do no damage to him until after he does 5000 damage and murders all of my best generals. My generals love this game and play it regularly, making it very hard to win against a team with Attila unless he seppukus against my Octavian.

I forgot to mention that an added level of excitement comes from the even chance that Attila is armed with a tactical nuke... However, yesterday I finally reached level 30 and got my hands on that sweet, sweet metal, fully F2P.
