It's just an experiment (only gold generals) I need you'll opinions. 4 AIP's (4 Star) Li Shimin & Alexander (2 Star) Caesar & Suleiman (3 Star) Going for gold gens only? That won't carry you in the end like it does in the beginning, and is SUPER expensive. But all of your gens are solid, just invest in a couple of commander gens. |

On their own, you'll find lone wolves more than team players, except for Caesar. To bring out even more of their value, they need commanders as mentioned above. I do agree that they're good for early game, but you'll need a more solid team if you want to get through the harder mid-game portion all the way to the post-endgame content.
You're looking at Atilla, Li Honzhang/Nelson and Barbarossa, to name a few.

Thanks, I will add more support generals because just like you said they are only good in early and can make a play alone. Good skills (Leadership, Commander Skills) can outplay the great stats of golden generals. Skills > Stats? btw all of my generals are in empire age (3stars) So I'm gonna continue the experiment. Stars>Debuffs>Aura Skills>Other Skills |
