This Empire Age hard mode mission requires you to defeat Jebe (eastern base), defeat Fenrir (likely eastern base but will advance) and sack two castles (W and E).
You get 4 princesses here and 10 gens.
You'd want 1 income princess on the starting lvl 2 residential area, two discount princess on the NE factory (to target the northern walls and the eastern city itself) & and the starting factory (to target the SW gate and western city) and one discount princess for wherever you may need common troops as fodder / backup.
Advance your western forces to attack Batu Khan's advance position and destroy the SW gate of the western base. Then, capture either the western and NW spawn points before attacking the city OR the southern and eastern spawn points. Move along the northern path, open a way into the western base and take out the western base.
Your eastern forces should aim to support Suleiman by attacking the spawn points beyond the SE gate of the western base as well as the spawn points west of the eastern base's SW gate.
If you brought a second arty gen, anti-fortress Alexander and feel confident, you may try to force a breakthrough into the eastern base via its SW gate.
Note: Even with lvl 7 Li Shimin and a blow from Gungnir's active on lvl 7 Saladin, any gate required 2-3 turns to fall.
Western forces
If you are confident, take the barracks south of the western city after defeating the gen. From there, move against the stables and archery east of the city.
Beware! There is a gray wolf (+50% dmg against cav) to the city's NE.
Otherwise, you may attack the barracks west-NW of the city.
Note: there are 3 archers waiting at the residential area and archery to the north of this position.
After taking either position, destroying the city triggers a counterattack. The troops on the surviving spawn points will attack and some troops to the base's NE will close in, including a generic gen on knights who can inflict Rumour.
Defeat them, capture the remaining spawn points and take the north-NE spawn points.
Note: Only the barracks seems to spam troops.
Defeating the generic knight may trigger a counterattack from Jebe and Fenrir.
A) If the eastern forces blocked the SW gate of the eastern base, Jebe and the frost giant may not leave the base, but Fenrir will attack via the northern path. Fenrir likely replaced the OP Genghis Khan.
Defeat Fenrir.
OR
B) If the eastern forces did not block the southern pass, one mounted archer, Jebe, Fenrir and the frost giant will charge out of the SW gate and move via the southern path. I'm guessing they will aim to capture your spawn points and Fenrir will block the southern path.
Your eastern forces must handle this, but you may also redeploy some of your western forces to help.
Advance along the northern path. Open a road into the eastern base and attack the city.
Eastern forces
There are two knights blocking your way, some distance NE of your starting position. Defeat them.
There is a mounted archer unit that will leave its archery (small distance from the SE gate of the western base) open.
Take its base and defeat it. Then, defeat the inf guard and take its residential area.
West of the eastern base's SW gate, a brown wolf (dmg to archers increased) will leave its stables open. Take it, defeat the wolf, defeat the inf guard and take the residential area.
The frost giant will move to the mountains, intending to blast any melee troops attacking the SW gate with AOE dmg.
You can choose to target the tower and not block the gate, block the gate but still target the tower or breach the gate, blocking the gate in the process.
When the northern generic knight gen is defeated, there are two outcomes if you failed to breach the gate.
1. A successfully blockade may cause Jebe to move towards the gate or remain in position, "trapping" him as well as the frost giant in the eastern base. Fenrir will take the northern path.
Quickly breach the base, defeat Jebe and the frost giant.
2. A failed blockade will allow Fenrir, Jebe, one mounted archer and the frost giant to charge your eastern forces along the southern path. They may stop in the middle of the path for a decisive battle.
Defeat all of the enemies.
If you breached the SW gate before the trigger, Jebe may confront you from within the eastern base and Fenrir may take the northern path.
Defeat Jebe and take out the eastern base.
Whatever outcome happens, once you enter the eastern base, if you've the fire power, simultaneously attack the city and capture all spawn points at once. If not, capture half of the spawn points before moving the the other half while attacking the city.
