Hi, I wanted to restart ew5 and try to play it seriously to the end, I just need help in giving me the generals recommended for an ArchCom or a CavCom (both f2p), thanks in advance!

Attila, Saladin, Suri (Blucher) and (Mocte) Nobunga, Li Hong, Nelson (Jhansi) if you warnt the best of both worlds.
(Cleo), Bismarck and (Li Shimin) for your artillery needs
Alex, Barbarossa may be temporarily useful
The ones in brackets and the infanteries have their moments but can be skipped

ArchCom, in order, bold being in endgame lineup:
Alexander, Cleopatra/Khalid (optional endgame), Barbarossa, Nobunaga, Hua Mulan (awakened), Saladin, Yi Sun Sin (his item is too good to pass up), Jhansi, Blucher/Attila, Nelson, Bismarck (if fielding one artillery)/ Heihachiro (if fielding two), Li Hongzhang, Pachacuti (awakened), plus your choice of an extra.
Hope I didn't forget anyone.

Thank you both, one last question, is attila necessary or can he be skipped I paired him with Saladin. Although Saladin is very squishy, the two can seriously crush moderate opposition, even if they are not the stars. Of course, if playing cavcom team, Atilla is a must-have. |

Hope I didn't forget anyone. All four coms. I see how that works, being able to split the team into two. I bet Jhansi gains more survivability due to plunder. I know OP said f2p, but for those seeking advice with IAP, I'd say Washington, Nobby, Saladin/Genghis + BoL (depends if you like some anti archer power or some extra anti infantry), Nelson, Pachu (awak), Li hong, Heih, Bismarck/Li shim (if you want 2 arty) if not, then Jhansi. Alternatively, if you don't want cavalry because they'd take up space for another archer, give BoL to Nobby(?), which gives you a free slot open for Jhansi or Moct. If you prefer three com for better sharing of rage, replace a potential Jhansi with Bis or Li shim or anyone else of your choosing. It's all a bit messy. I myself am still trying to figure out the best 8 team for me. |
