i only recently unlocked him but immediately upgraded to lvl 5 bc i have spare gems atm. Since he is inf i dont think i will upgrade to max right now bc counterattack and plague are good qualities even with medium health. His cav passive probably shines fully upgraded but that costs a total of 864 gems.
I also fully maxed mammoth recently bc his upgrade is so much cheaper in comparison.
