Note: All of this is my thought on ET future,it could contains lot's of error and miscalculation so take this thread with a grain of salt
In the past Easytech has gains tremendous success as games like Fortress Under Siege and EW:4 and many others game have gains at least about +1 million download and creating them lot's of money (of course there are exception like EW:2 and WC 1945 but we don't talk about that).But as of now it seems that ET games(especially GOG3 and EW7) despite their effort have gain less and less download from 2020 to now(500k+100k from GOG3 and EW7),and I think it has to do with the fact that some of the long time follower or fan have left in fast rate and some youtuber like Wingcrony that used to make ET contents have either switch to other games or just straight up quit making ET and youtube content all together,the fact that ET has been mostly silence about WC5 future and other games isn't making this problem any better,and I think some ET games and franchise as a whole just dried out due to lack of contents and idea
Now this still sound pretty bad but I still have some hoped for ET,currently they're looking for player opinion and suggestion and updating content from their older game,but my attention goes to WC3 one since i have a theory that maybe WC3 update can be a hint that they're going to working on WC5 "Soon" and this project is gonna be combining all the good stuff from their previous games and suggestion as well reducing the flaws and the bad stuff that the previous games had so that it won't become Too Litte Too Late

EW4 was launched in 2014 I think. So it garnered 1 million in 8 years or 125K per year. GOG3 was launched not even 2 years back and it already has 500K downloads (as you said). Also, ET needs to consistently improve the gameplay to stay relavent. GOG3, for me, is the most realistic game. Which other game takes even the weather factor into consideration? On top of that, we've got the entire WC series having WW2 content and GOG3 tops them all. My point is that ET needs to consistently improve the gameplay to maintain and improve it's fanbase. GOG3 and EW7 have done exactly that. |

The "free game download" economy of android changed a lot. Now the after-sales make the money - logical if the initial sale (download) is $0 - free. On these after-sales, the High-Spender, googlePlay tags these player extra: gms.potentialHighSpender=true, they bring the cash. A hardcore fanbase of a few hundreds, with each spending $100++ every month, they keep the smaller studios alive - not 100k downloads where maybe 1-2% spend up to 5$ (very opotimisic values). With the continiously updating, ET adresses exactly these players. This looks not bad for the close future of ET. Edit PS: [...] ET games and franchise [...] I know EasyTech makes spin-offs for magazines, advertisement etc., this was the way I encountered them. But do they have a franchise? |

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that, since we don't have info on how ET is doing or how much income they gain so we could only look at face value like the download and player feedback and i think they're doing great(ish)(Though it might be for the fact that to prevent another EW7 situation where the fans just "mutiny" for not having EW7 on android quicker)The statistics will usually answer our question of how they're doing right now or how their behavior are like,just that it doesn't give us too much in-depth information |

We need some clarification about wc5, even if it will happen. i mean, sure, yes, they will face problems if they include the Chinese side pf the war, but it feels like we are getting more detail in every gsames, IK the Chinese gov. doesn't want to portray the KMT as heroes but they could make stuff like the 100 regiemnts offensive and the china civil war
