Vader & Trotsky present an updated EW4 for our community.
To keep EW4 alive and to attract again modder for EW4, we developed this new unlock APK.
The goal was to make modding as easy as possible with an concurent EW4.
So what is new in V3 ? (uncomplete)
Important notes:
If you want to use the unV3 or any file of these apk, you must publish you your mod must be in the EFC-public domain Read this before you start.
V3 files are incompatible to EW4 - it is easy and safe to edit the V3 files, but do not overwrite them with older versions ! [ -link- changes ]
On request we provide migration tools or a service to translate your modded EW4.0 btl - files to V3.
Bugs and limitations:
This is a modded EW4-Version from July 2015
I tried what I can to make it suitable for newer devices. There are some limitations:

- Aspect on wide screens the aspect can be wrong
- The end of the map is hexagonal
- Ressource colors do not change during trading

streamlined the xml syntax - all tags and attributes are lowercase

we still need to modify battles with a hex-editor (NMM), but:
with x-y coordinates instead of Field-Id you find every hex on the map immediately
reduced risk of placing units outside the battlefieldupdated animation system
motion and effects sorted and rewritten
effects and sounds have correct namesmodern apk structre
find all files quickly
all unused files removed
logical filenames for effective modding
the new folder structure allows temporary xml for testingdebloated

this apk supports only one language - this is usually enough for a mod and it makes the modding process easier - if you want to publish your mod in different languages, make separate apk.extended XD-fonts
