I dismantled them as well They came too late for me, not worth boosting them to replace my LV17 VG If I were ET I’d make us “convert” an already upgraded unit to another one of the same era, maintaining the original level. This would be better than just “fire longbowmen” and stuff. |

So, all "old" units have a significant advantage over "new" ones. |

Waaait, I just noticed it says 14 and not 13, meaning its 2 patches what is missing (as I'd guess each just brings 1 new campaign) and not just one.
FFs, then we wont be able to use lvl 20 troops on 2022, but we may face them on hard campaigns. Yay...

I assume it will take a month or more for the next update so my question is: what to spend my souls for.
I have Templars, MR and Mamluks at lvl12
Whether I throw everything to up some of these or I have just unlocked chinese melee infantry unit.
I can throw everything to improve them, to make my Inf gens super mobile.
I can buy somewhat like 65 fragments.
Ideas?

I really don't understand why Chinese Two-handed swordsmen can charge while European can't 😕, but they seem to be the best melee Infantry unit at the moment. Excellent addition to legions of Beowulf, El-Cid (equipped with Nordic helmet) and other Infantry generals. But to unlock and to upgrade Jet Black cavalry is also a possible way to spend your war souls and medals. Together with Templars they are quite devastating offensive force. The third way is to upgrade 3 ranged cavalry units: Mamluks/MR/IBC. I think all these ways are solid. |

andrei i would definitly go for a lower unit and not trying to up lvl 12 or higher. those additional 1 or 2 lvls in exchange for all your souls! would leave a bitter taste in my mouth. chinese melee for broken movement or jet black for broken attack (movement) surely must be the best options. i less believe in 3 ranged cav bc they have no chase or climb. sidenote: would be cool to give THOSE skills via gems!
